Stand-up fave Dane Cook has signed up for a pair of big-screen projects, including the upcoming romantic comedy Dan in Real Life, about a pair of brothers who find out that they're in love with the same woman. The other brother is Golden Globe winner Steve Carell. The comedian, who recently hosted Saturday Night Live, also has signed for Employee of the Month and apparently has sold a pitch to the Weinstein Company for a comedy flick with a plot line that's being kept under wraps. "For several years now, my goal has been to show people ideas I've had outside of the world of stand-up comedy," says Cook.
